Article 29
Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and
abilities to the full. It must encourage the child’s respect for
human rights, as well as respect for their parents, their own and
other cultures, and the environment.

Article 12
Every child has the right to have a say in all matters affecting
them, and to have their views taken seriously.

Nursery class were fascinated with ‘Harry & the Dinosaurs Go Wild’ by Ian Whybrow.

The story introduced the children to the concept of endangered animals and the fact a small person can have a voice and make changes in the world. Which is the focus of our learning  this week!

Where have all the dinosaurs gone?

We are going to be finding out about dinosaurs this week. As they are now extinct it makes us think about these global issues. To protect our environment we need to consider how to respect our environment before more species become extinct!
