We Are A Rights Respecting Class!

The United Nations have devised 54 articles that cover all aspects of a child’s life and set out the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights that all children everywhere are entitled to. It also explains how adults and governments must work together to make sure all children can enjoy all their rights.

Article 1
Everyone under 18 has these rights.    Article 2 ALL CHILDREN have these rights, no matter who they are, where they live, what their parents do, what language they speak, what their religion is, whether they are a boy or girl, what their culture is, whether they have a disability, whether they are rich or poor.

In Nursery we have always focused on the principle that ‘children have the right to play’ Article 31.
